The rich historical, cultural and natural heritage of the Arras area makes it an attractive tourist centre in a privileged environment.

> Arras is a favourite destination for foreign tourists (from England, Belgium, Netherlands and Canada in particular). Among its attractions are the national war cemetery at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, and the Canadian Memorial at Vimy, Arras town centre with its underground passages (Boves), its famous mediaeval squares, the Wellington Quarry, not to mention its Belfry and Citadel, classed as Unesco heritage centres.
Its excellent cuisine is another good reason to make a stop over here.
